What is EFT?

Many people refer to Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) as “tapping.” Individuals utilizing this healing modality will tap on meridian points to release stored tension within the mind and body. It is a psychological acupressure that became recognized when developer Gary Craig published information about EFT in the 1990s.  

 

Benefits of EFT?

 

EFT can be helpful for people who have:

EFT helps to restore a mind and body connection. As humans, we store all of our past hurts and traumas within the organs and cells of our body. For example, when our brain tells our body we are feeling anxious, our body is flooded with amino acids that affect all aspects of our being. When an individual experiences stress, anxiety, worry, fear, depression, or trauma, the cells can chemically change at their very core.

 

On the flip side, when our brain tells our body we are excited, amino acids spread through all parts of our cells and body to chemically change them at their very core in a positive way. When you change the energy flow from the body, you can change the thoughts in your brain in a powerful and uplifting way.

What can you expect during an EFT session?

 

During an EFT session with me, while tapping on acupressure meridian points, you and I will work together to create powerful affirmations that are adapted to suit you and your personal life experiences.

 

Working together as a team, I will guide you the entire time to tap on your meridian points and say these affirmations out loud to assist you in returning to a state of calm and peace.
